ACM-e has significant experience in the application of main technologies of Automatic Data Collection (ADC), in particular the use of RFID technology in Maintenance and Logistics processes.
These projects for the most part need engineering feasibility studies in order to devise a customized approach and ascertain the most appropriate hardware (tag, PDA, gate, etc.) and software solutions for each specific case.
While ACM-e believes that RFID technology can be adapted to several different scenarios, we focus this technology in the application of solutions for road maintenance, civil engineering (hospitals, big hotels, etc.) and utility, developing a Technical-ERP platform named CMMMS (Computerized Maintenance and Material Management System) to assist in this process.
In a complex organizational context, for example where many services have been outsourced, the use of RFID can help achieve great results in terms of cost reduction for outsourced services, improvement of outsourcing contract terms and the general monitoring of outsourcing contracts.
